If you only want to store the information in your account it is ok to upload individual files, but if you want to share them with other users you must add them to a folder.
After the button “Add Folder” is clicked, a screen where you type the name that this folder will have is displayed and if you want to share it with someone, although this is optional and it can be shared later with Dropbox users or not. After creating the folder, a list appears with all the folders in your account, and there can be chose in which one of them the new files will be stored by clicking its name. In the top right section there is the icon of “load” which will open a window to search the desired files inside the device memory.
After the load of the files inside a folder is finished, you can access the option to share it with other users, or if you wish, share the link to the folder to anyone and they will be able to access to the files without being a user.
The process for uploading files to the cloud through applications for computers or phones is quite similar, except that you it is not required to access a web browser.
There is another method to register in Dropbox with the business version, where the files will be shared with employees and managed by the administrator. The service offers 5 TB of storage to be shared with 5 employees for $ 75 USD per month or $ 750 USD per year, this prices will be a little more expensive as it is shared with more employees.
